Inspired from Islamic patterns, this design approaches the complexity of the Islamic geometry in a new way using the sectioning method, in an attempt to contemporize them. Built with 7 layers of white painted plywood to distinguish the Islamic star while adding a removable reinforced glass sheet below the top layer for functionality.
